Due east:61:10/E:62:11/E:62:12 Errors
I have looked through a lot of threads with basically the same thought so I decided to consolidate:
I have a W80 with the East:62:11 fault. Showed upward sporatcally afterward a couple hard hits. It wasn't a problem; i didn't detect any lower image quality and information technology would still permit me have pix, simply with that fault message being obnoxious. The only annoying part was the really long load times to plow the camera on... At first information technology would only happen every now and then, and so all the time. Tried the "tapping" (it actually took a decent whack on each of the sides-while the camera was on and in flick mode-to become the error to articulate, and the startup time back to normal). I guess the near old fashioned method of fixing things still applies to modern technology, haha!
From what I've read, this method works on just virtually all sony T and W serial (including mine) cameras with a similar code/symptoms. Give it a try.
Even though this is an easy fix, SONY... ready this problem. It obviously is very mutual, and affects merely nearly all of your bestselling cameras.

I believe yous demand to reset the settings dorsum to normal practice this and fault goes away. Non too certain about giving it a whack though!!!
Follow these steps.
Press HOME> SETTINGS> MAIN SETTINGS> INITIALIZE> OK
The Cyber-Shot will restart and you only need to re set teh time & date.

gave the 62:12 error on a dsc w80 later dropping about ii feet into some grass( not a difficult drop)
error comes up sporadically just also noticed that when the mistake is flashing the pictures will come up as if i took a flick holding the photographic camera longways( promise that made sense) tried resetting to default setting...didnt work. tried giving it a wack....looks good then far, we will have to wait and see.

Tried the tapping...no luck. Gave the Home>Settings>principal settings>Initialize>ok flim-flam and that seemed to do the trick. I guess information technology'south a sensor issue if previously dropped. that would explaing why borer it would loosing the jam and why the pics would be flipped if taken vertically.

I have done everything listed in this site, and other sites. All the same aught wored for me.
Finally gave information technology to the SONY service center. As per them, this error comes due to corruption in software (for lens)
I will get to know the results in couple of days - Fingures crossed!!

Problem lies with battery connections
Reove battery and give a good clean.

I have a DSC-T77, i used the borer method, the picture is totally clear just the error is not going away. I initialized, changed all settings, removed bombardment-inserted again only the error is not going away an because of the error my camera is non letting me to capture pics or record videos. Is in that location any mode that i tin employ my camera once again?

I cleaned my lens and went into menu, toolbox and turned off auto orientation. The East:62:12 message went away and the review images oriented correctly once again
